Gladiators Gladiators ! How is your summer going?

Believe it or not, we have too much to say in too little time! So many events, so much action in this beautiful City that is called Montreal. We are all over the place and Summer has just started 🙂

We didn’t want to wait to share with you some of our food experience. After all our goal is to get you out there Gladiators!!!

First share of the Summer?  French restaurant Le Pois Penche. French all the way! From its decor to its menu, c’est la France mes amis!

Brunch it was to celebrate a special day. You can sit on the terrasse which fills the sidewalk, or, do like us and take the better option of sitting inside by the bay windows which are wide open. The comfort of the inside almost outside 🙂 Perfect setting.

We tried the FARMER BREAKFAST. It came with 2 fried eggs, slow cooked bacon, thick old fashioned bacon I would add, in case you expect traditional canadian bacon. With this homemade sausage, grelot potatoes and “white”coco beans, Again, precision, do not expect your typical “sugar shack” beans. When we say it’s French, IT IS.

Second try; the HOME SMOKED SALMON garnished with poached eggs,  laid on a brioche bread. Accompanied with avocado, salmon roe and dill cream.

Both very good. Small in portion but tasty. We made France proud by ordering a delicious platter of cheeses with baguette. This made the Brunch a full success.

Delicious coffee, fresh mimosas. What can we asked more… a sunny day and good company.
We had all of it!
