Un souper Méditerranéen!

Well Well Well  Gladiator Friends… It’s been a while.
We hope you started 2020 well and we wish you Health, success and good food :).

We are starting the year with a throwback…..
Un souper Méditerranéen!  @Ikanos during the last edition of MTLaTable.

Cozy, relaxed, warm with a great service and an unique fine dining experience. It is one of THE place to savor some fresh fish and seafood.
Definitely a 5 Gladiators rating to the Chef Constant Mentzas

We started with a variety of Oysters, followed by Salmon, Charejo farm red beets, VMO Garden cranberries, horseradish espuma. Of course, you know us, we opted to taste everything on the menu, which means that this also came with  the Côte-Nord snow crab cannelloni, Charejo farm yellow beets, and seabuckthorn berries.

 

The Oysters were fresh and tasty, we opted for the salty option but you can also get the sweet ones. The salmon excellent and the crab cannelloni simple heavenfull!  Nothing but positive reviews!
An excellent start to our evening!

Our second service brought to us Wild halibut, preserved tomatoes from Ikanos Garden, homemade ravioli with artichokes, and Fou du Roy cheese. We paired it with the Braised rabbit, plums, risotto with black walnut, and the ever so tasty Le Rassembleu blue cheese.

 

What can we say, the halibut was flaky and fresh, served simply, with an olive tapenade. The ravioli were a meal on their own, in size and in taste!  Thanks to the wine we savored and enjoyed the evening slowly enough to get to eat it all.

If you visit them, please select the rizotto, the blue cheese gives it a wonderful flavor, you cannot pass this up!

We have walked in front of this gem of a restaurant so many times without ever stopping by.

Thanks to MTLaTable we discovered them and will definitely be back.

Warm and cozy, an excellent place to bring your Gladiator friends and have a wonderful evening. Tables are wide and can be re-arranged to fit groups. The dining room is of a very nice size and does not get too noisy even when full. Great to bring a Gladiator from out of Town on a visit!
